Eric Garcetti's Agenda

A Plan for a Safe, Healthy, Prosperous City

Eric's Agenda

Expanding Healthy Neighborhoods

Building Better Schools

Ensuring Safer Communities

Promoting Economic Growth

Bringing Government Home

In his first term in office, Councilmember Eric Garcetti helped revitalize the neighborhoods of the Thirteenth District while also addressing some of the most important challenges facing the entire city. In his second term, he is building on this record with a plan to rebuild a safer, healthier, and more economically vibrant city.

Councilmember Garcetti is working to expand healthy neighborhoods that are clean and green. He is opening up opportunities to Los Angeles workers and businesses to grow the local economy through job training, business tax reduction, and stronger schools.

Councilmember Garcetti is working with residents to continue to reduce crime through a strengthened police department and through expanded youth and crime-prevention programs.

Finally, Councilmember Garcetti is continuing to make local government touch people’s lives by making himself accessible through office hours, neighborhood walks, and trainings to a new generation of neighborhood leaders and the residents of the Thirteenth Council District.
